IN THE NYINGMAPA, the lineage of the guru is of primary significance. It is through lineage transmission, from guru to student, that the nature of mind, pure awareness is passed down. The guru transmits the lineage awareness and the student recognizes the awareness. Then the student has a taste, a direct introduction, and matures their recognition by doing the practices of the lineage. The lama ( guru) gives the student the complete empowerment of the lineage, through the wang (empowerment), the lung ( textual transmission) and ti ( verbal explanation) as well as a detailed explanation of the visualizations, all of which carry with them the mind stream of the lama's pure awareness. The student practices the visualization, the liturgy and the mantras to keep continuous direct contact with the lineage.

OUR LAMAS ARE: reincarnate lama, H.E. Kushok Tulku (82K), by name of Lama Ngawang Lozang Yeshe Gyatso Rinpoche; reincarnate lama, H.E. Kyaprok Tulku (74K), by name of Lama Ngawang Tenzin Chotar Zangpo Rinpoche; and Ven. Lama Ngawang Tsultrim Rinpoche (90K).
